Cavity Wall Insulation
The highest proportion of heat loss from your home is through the cavities in your walls. Up to 35% can be lost indicating how much energy we consume in excess of what we actually require.
Karnheath Ltd installs BBA approved product Instafibre White Wool mineral glass wool to ensure minimum loss of heat as well as reducing utility costs and improving the energy efficiency of your home.

Loft Insulation
As much as 25% of heat can be lost through the roof of a house that doesn’t contain any loft insulation. By insulating the loft space, the temperature throughout the building will stabilise as well as reducing fuel bills and reducing the carbon footprint of the property.
Karnheath Ltd installs two approved products Knauf and Isover to the minimum building regulation standard of 270mm. The quilt is packaged in widths to accommodate most loft and joist spaces.

Cavity Wall Extraction
A selection of bricks are removed to allow for compressed air to be blown into the cavity whilst a specialist vacuum collects the waste from the bottom. All waste is bagged and disposed of safely from site. Once all the material is extracted, bricks are replaced and any necessary remedial works carried out to ensure the building is left in the same condition it was found.
